ENTREPRENEURSHIP & SKILL DEVELOPMENT
PROGRAMME (ESDP)
When SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (SDP) and ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (EDP) are tied up, then it is known as ESDP (Entrepreneurship & Skill Development Programme).
If one is interested to be self employed by setting up his/her own ventures, he/she should undergo 20 days’ duration EDP followed by 40 days’ duration SDP training courses, so that he/she may well acquaint with modern management technique to run his/her own unit and technical know-how about the proposed product for manufacturing and other all formalities for setting up a unit.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION TO ABOVE TRAINING COURSE
a) The candidates may be in any age group but must be above 18 years.
b) The minimum qualification for the candidates for Entrepreneurship Development Programme and Skill Development Programme is decided by the Director considering the nature of programme and place of implementation.
COURSE FEE : The fee is nominal to the extent of Rs.100/- per candidate in each Entrepreneurship Development Programme and Skill Development Programme for general candidates. There will be no fee for the Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe, Women and Physically Handicapped candidates.
STIPEND : Under consideration for certain categories from 2007-08.

b) The details of the programme will be published in the media as per the local needs..
